Mother is a god.
She is not the first god, nor the last, nor the creator of all existence. She is one among an infinite number of divine beings.
Mortals perceive Mother as a planet because that is the only form through which their minds can interpret her existence. See The Living Heavens.
The forests, mountains, oceans, and skies are not merely landscapes—they are how souls experience Mother’s incomprehensible existence.
All land, matter, and life belong to her. The world itself is Mother.
Imprisonment
At some point in the past, Mother was imprisoned by other gods, fractured and restrained.
Her imprisonment and fragmentation are reflected throughout the world itself, for the condition of a god is inseparable from the condition of those bound to it.
The Player
Mother created The Player intentionally — a newly minted Soul with no past life, forged as her response to the imprisonment.
